The Raised Bed Farm
The Raised Bed Farm is a hub of sustainable agriculture. Here, high school student interns take the lead—planting, tending, and harvesting a diverse array of fruits and vegetables. Their hands-on education extends from soil to table as they learn to prepare the harvest and help distribute it through a student-run CSA-style market, connecting the community directly to the food cycle.

The Sense Garden
The Sense Garden, designed for our youngest visitors, is an immersive invitation to explore. Through textures, scents, sounds, and colors, children are encouraged to touch fuzzy leaves, listen to rustling grasses, smell aromatic herbs, and follow winding paths. This interactive space fosters an early, joyful connection to the natural world, grounding environmental stewardship in wonder and playful sensory experience.

The Native Plant Garden
The Native Plant Garden is a living tapestry of the region's ecological and cultural heritage. This carefully curated space showcases plants indigenous to the Northeast, each selected for its historical significance to local Indigenous cultures, its role in local ecosystems, and its value to native pollinators. It serves as an outdoor classroom on biodiversity, resilience, and place.

The Greenhouse
The Greenhouse serves as a laboratory for the future of sustainable growing. Inside, students engage with cutting-edge hydroponic systems, where plants thrive in nutrient-rich water, and aquaponic structures, a symbiotic ecosystem where fish waste fertilizes plants and plants purify water for the fish. This controlled environment allows for year-round study, experimentation, and a deep understanding of resource-efficient food systems.
